My name is Peter Sloan I recently returned to ceramics after a long time away. I decided to indulge myself now that I have more spare time and build a wood fired kiln. I have always fired with gas in the past but my gas kiln was beyond repair. The island has always been a bit of a dead end for wooden pallets, so my kiln was designed to burn pallets. What could possibly go wrong ? LOL!.

My workshop is a small shed but is ample for my type of work. All my work is hand made, mostly slab pots, hand sculpted pots and ornaments.

My old business name still adorns my workshop and is still my prefered mark on my pots, "corrie pottery" gone but not forgotten.
